Hawaii 2011 was such a blast!
Let me just say that vacationing with a six month old isn't as relaxing as you would think! Now that Max can crawl everywhere we had to keep a close eye on him... and that meant not as much relaxing as we were used to! But we wouldn't trade it for anything!

So the biggest surf competition "The Eddie" was actually going to happen Thursday while we were there... we got us super early, packed our van, and made our way to the North Shore to experience this amazing event! But of course, right when we got there they decided the HUGE waves weren't consistent enough, and they postponed it :(
But as you can see, everything was set up, and all the surfers were already in the water, so we were able to watch them catch some waves and show their stuff! It was pretty awesome!

I think we were in Hawaii at the same time as you guys!-but we were on Kauai! Don't you just LOVE Hawaii, especially when it is SO stinkin cold here??? Glad you had a fun trip!

What a fun trip! I don't know what we miss more over here the Sun or the green grass! What a perfect time for a trip. We love that Max - he is too cute!
